FYI regarding 1000 Rodeo Drive Property
Preliminary inquiry with Benton County Planning
& Development Department produced the following information:
Most, if not all of the subject property lies inside
of the Urban Growth Boundary and has potential to be divided into
11 lots total. A proposed division may involve City requirements
that their “Clustering” strategy for planned development inside
the Urban Growth Boundary is adhered to as much as possible. Final
decision regarding proposals for division and/or development will
come from the County level and application for same will begin there.
Contact listing office for development code statutes for Planned
Unit Development in Corvallis ' Urban Fringe, Chapter 100. Benton
County Planners determine that Chapter 100 would allow for 9 of
the 11 lots to be 5,000 to 20,000 square feet in size. The remainder
of the property may be divided into 2 larger parcels. The existing
residence and equine facility should be allowed to continue to operate
if applied to one of those parcels.
